Mākslas galerija "Putti" (2000–2020) bija vadošā Baltijas laikmetīgās un konceptuālās rotas galerija Vecrīgā, Peitavas ielā 5 – 1907. gada jūgendstila namā (arh. Pauls Mandelštams). Galeriju vadīja Agita Putāne; tajā izstādījās gan Latvijas, gan pasaulē pazīstami rotu mākslinieki, piemēram, Ted Noten, Märta Mattsson un Tanel Veenre.

Story

Mākslas galeriju "Putti" 2000. gadā dibināja Agita Putāne ar mērķi popularizēt Latvijas un starptautisko laikmetīgo un konceptuālo rotu. Galerija atradās Vecrīgā, Peitavas ielā 5 (telpa 5-31), 1907. gadā celtā jūgendstila dzīvojamā namā ar veikalu pirmajā stāvā, ko projektējis arhitekts Pauls Mandelštams (1872–1941). Telpas bija speciāli iekārtotas galerijas vajadzībām. Divdesmit gadu laikā galerija rīkoja līdz četrām lielām izstādēm gadā – gan personālizstādes, gan grupu izstādes. Tās pastāvīgo kolekciju galvenokārt veidoja Latvijas un Igaunijas Mākslas akadēmiju absolventu darbi; ilggadēji sadarbības autori bija Valdis Brože, brāļi Andris un Guntis Lauderi, Māris Šustiņš, Māris Auniņš un Roberts Koļcovs. Rīgā izstādījās arī starptautiski zināmi mākslinieki – holandiešu konceptuālists Ted Noten ar 25 gadu retrospekciju (2014), Felieke van der Leest, Märta Mattsson, Emmanuel Lacoste un igauņu rotu mākslinieki izstādē "Udujutt" (2019). Galerija ar izstādēm piedalījās arī ārvalstīs – Madridē, Sanktpēterburgā, Ženēvā, Londonā un Tokijā. Noslēguma izstāde "Rotas nav tikai rotas. Finisāža" (5.–31. marts 2020) vienlaikus atzīmēja 20 gadu jubileju; tās scenogrāfiju veidoja MAREUNROL'S. Kopš 2020. gada 1. aprīļa galerija darbību pārtrauca – īpašniece izbeidza uzņēmējdarbību. Tajā pašā gadā telpās darbojās Arterritory salons "Atbalstissimo" mākslinieku atbalstam. 2024. gadā iznāca grāmata "Rota nav tikai rota" par galerijas vēsturi, un no 17. maija līdz 15. jūnijam galerija vēlreiz vēra durvis noslēdzošajai starptautiskajai izstādei "Vai te kāds ir?" ar 40 māksliniekiem no 17 valstīm. — Pētījums: Grok Bot
